Blatant disregard to CPA

My maid's mother bought a fridge from Lewis - Price R2999 but took it over 36mths which equates to R10 336. Interest rate of 25%. is this a rip-off or what! Client was not screened for affordability - she is a pensioner and her daughter needs to pay the monthly repayment. Further it was not explained to them what the actual cost of the fridge would be - this is in the agreement but as the person is illiterate - she needed explanation of the contract which clearly was not done and she has witness's to thi! When I tried to settle the account on her behalf to limit the rip-off and gross overpayment of the purchase - I was informed that the settlement amount was in excess of R4000 - how do you justify this. Then spike to Store Manger Lazarian who undertook to investigate the matter and come back to me - no response for more than 10 days. This is totally against CPA regulations and unless the matter is sorted this will handed over to the Commissione
