Collapsing mattress despite 15 year warranty

Shops, Products, Services

In October 2009 I purchased two Forty Winks Panther mattresses. I required firm beds and with the advice of the sales consultant, R Duffin, made my choice going for the more expensive option. I was reassured by the FIFTEEN WARRANTY.
The mattresses have become progressively softer in less that two and a half years. This has led to waking up with back ache; a problem which does not happen when sleeping away from home on a firmer mattress.
I reported this problem three weeks ago. I received numerous SMS's advising what a valued customer I am, as well as several emails but no action. I even received one email advising that my mattress had been inspected and would be exchanged. However, this was for someone else. On Tuesday Ryan finally came to inspect the bed and confirmed that the bed had BECOME SOFTER, However, he stated that "like a pair of shoes wears down, a mattress will become softer" I totally disagree with this sentiment, particularly with a supposodely quality mattress with a 15 year warranty.
This pathetic response does not reflect well on Dial. A.Bed nor the parent company Ellerine Furnishers and I expect these mattresses to be exchanged ASAP
