Serta Mattresses won't honour warranty

A Serta Mattress was purchased from Tafelberg Furnisher but has memory foam. This makes the bed excessively hot resulting in one waking up at night covered in sweat. I have tried all forms of different covers to try and get undisturbed sleep over almost two years. However it is not possible. When I tried to speak to Mariana, the representative from Serta who phoned me, she was evasive and quite frankly could not care less that a mattress which one purchases to sleep on can't fulfill its intended purpose. When she said the warranty does not cover "comfort issues" I had a number of questions. Serta does not care that one cannot sleep on one of their mattresses and their staff could not care less whether the mattress is comfortable or not? A mattress is purchased, the customer cannot sleep on it and Serta's representative says, or clearly implies, their warranty does not cover "comfort issues". Not only is this madness but surely complete misrepresentation? A mattress is purchased with one purpose only - to be comfortable enough to sleep on. Apparently something that Serta could not care less about - "comfort issues" are not something Serta addresses according to Mariana.
