Wrong debit card transaction not getting refunded

For some reason I had to enter my pin code in the pad twice, about a minute apart.
I requested to know why I had to enter it a second time - reply was is did not go through.
I mentioned that the amount of the first transaction was R110 odd but my sale was only R56.95.
Sales person (cashier name 01) replied that it's not correct, and pulled a slip of the same value out of the till, and replied that it was the previous customer sale.
I was confused, but gave them the benefit of doubt.
A week later I noticed that both transactions came off my account.
When I later confronted the sales lady, she replied that I must obtain a bankstatement and fax it. done that.
Weeks later they were still "waiting on headoffice".
Next reply (only when I make contact) was that head office can't pick it up on their side.
Then I had to sort it out with my bank. can you believe that?

Now I am stranded, paid for items not recieved, and when I threatened to walk out with something worth a hundred bucks, she replied she will call security.

what am I to do now?
is this really where business is ending up?
its not the money, I dont have time for this. its the principle. who else was then robbed??
