Rochester fails to inform me of non delivery

I purchased a dining room suite from Rochester on 2 Feb 2013 and dealt with the sales consultant Cynthia Mthembu. The dining room suite was set to be delivered to me on 23 March 2013. I was called by the driver at 9:30am and informed that they were on their way to deliver my dining room suite to me however at 13:30 I had still not received my dining room suite and called the driver from the number he had called me on at 13:39. He informed me that the legs of my table had broken and therefore the dining room suite was being taken back to the head office. Had I not called to find out about my delivery I would have had no idea as to the whereabouts of my suite. Furthermore it begs the question of the quality of the products used to make the dining room sutie if the legs could break that easily. I am deeply disappointed in Rochester's inability to keep me informed about what had happened to my dining room suite and I really hope that they will be REPLACING the table and not merely repairing the unit before it is delivered to me. I have faced a great inconvenience with having to wait at home for my table and now to wait even longer until a new table is made for me.
