Deposit for goods in 2009

I made a deposit of R10 000 for a dining room suite and later it was not delivered on agreed time and I was compelled to cancel the deal or be allowed to change to something else. However, this was declined and I was informed that I will be charged for storage for the dining room suite which was not even available at that time. I have sent several letters or emails to Rochester demanding my refund but there is no reply up to date.
