Humiliation of a 64 year old custome

I experienced the most humiliating experience of my life at the hands of staff at William Nicol store which is supposedly the flagship branch. My family and I have been loyal customer for more than 30 years and have interacted on prior occasions with the management of this branch which makes the situation so much worse. On the day in questione I purchased groceries using the 3 tiered trolley placing a box of milk in the lower basket. Unfortunately when paying at the till I forgot to remove the milk to pay for the item. As I left the store I was approached by the security guard who pointed out that I failed to pay. I immediately offered to return to till to pay but was told this was not allowed. This is when my hellish experience began. I was escorted by security to a back room and told to wait for a manager. The guard treated me with zero dignity and I was left in tears. When the manager Denzel appeared he failed to recognise my tears or apologise for my treatment (shocking). My ID was copied and I was treated as common criminal. I will never ever shop in your stores. My family who are equally disturbed will never shop in your store and I will do my utmost get other to stop.
