Never Purchase from Furniture City

In October 2012 i purchased over R35000 worth of furniture from Furniture City, after clearing my home with the old to make space for the new. On the day of delivery i had no furniture except for a stove in my place, only to find out that they are only delivering a TV, TV stand, and a couch with a chair. When i asked about the bedroom suite i was told that they did not have any stock. They replaced the original bed with another bed which i was told was of better quality. After a month the bed started tearing and the springs left me and my partner with sore bodies, i launched a complained and requested that the bed needs to be exchanged. I called them back in Dec '12, Jan '13, Feb '13 and for the last time on 20 March 2013. Every time they had a different excuse as to why i am still waiting.

The service from Furniture City Canal walk is shocking, don't ever buy from them it is not worth the money you spent as their after sale service is enough to make want to swear. All they want is the sale so they can receive their incentive. The product itself is a shock, it falls apart and as the customer you will not receive value for your money unless you buy plastic. Stay away from them.
