Convenience went bad

I am a fan of buying pre cut veggies as it makes my life easier. Usually I buy my veggies at Checkers, but as I was busy doing shopping at pnp, I decided to buy the veggies there. I bought a packet of roasting veggies with a best by date of the 19th March 2013. I used these veggies yesterday (18th March 2013) and they were absolutely disgusting. They were slimy and soft. Not fresh, crispy and firm. Now this happened before, hence me writing a complaint. To pay in the region of R20 - R25 for a packet of veg and aren't able to use it, is quite discerning. I even took photos of the veg. I know that this might be a small matter but I do think that pnp's fruit & veg department must look into producing fruit & veg that is fresh as they state in all of their marketing.
