Waiting two months still no answers

We have been given a George Forman grill for Christmas. It is the grill with both the grill and flat side. We used it twice, but with the third time the grill was broken and never heated up. As it was baught at Makro we desided to take it in for repairs or ask our money back. Money back was a better Deal as we were not entirely happy with the grill as we want one of the older versions. The Lady told US That it Must go in for analisis first. We are understanding, Thus we agreed and it went for analisis. We were told we should hear from Them within 4 days. After 2 weeks we phoned Them and they had no answers. A few hours later we heard That the analists has recieved the grill. It has now been almost 2 months and still we have not heard anything else. We have lost our grill and my Mother whom baught it for US lost almost R1000. We are having troubles to find our paperwork so we do not have any reference numbers currently, but as soon as we find it we will take further steps as this is unacceptable!!!
