Fica registering nightmare

Last month I paid my account and they gladly accepted my 880 payment. Directly after that I urgently needed to get things for my children and without any prior notice to me, my purchases om my account were denied because I had not confirmed my details for Fica. As a busy business lady and mother of three, time is of the essence and I was upset that my time and opportunity (after fitting and choosing what we wanted) were wasted.
This Saturday I went to Cresta to buy some much needed cosmetics before leaving for a trip on Sunday. In my haste I forgot about the registering yet again and was denied the purchase.
I smiled and decided it was my own fault, drove all the way back home and fetched a proof of residence account and ID document and went back to customer service. The lady at customer service were very unfriendly and just told me they do not accept Woolworths accounts as proof and walked away. Could they have not stated their exact requirements for documentation on proof of residence and communicated properly with their customers? Our utillity bills are registered in our company name. Should I just close my account after 22 years? They clearly don't care about their customers
