We purchased a LG Fridge on the 3rd of March 2013. We paid in full for the fridge as well as delivery and the delivery was scheduled for the 16th March 2013. We were assured that all was in order, received the relevant proof of payment and documents, and left. We phoned on Saturday morning, the 16th March 2013 to confirm delivery. We were told that they were out of stock and could not deliver our fridge. The salesperson in question immediately blamed the main store and referred the matter to his manager. The store manager (of Southgate) advised that we be given back our money and purchase the fridge elsewhere. This was after several phonecalls and blameshifting. There was also no stock of other fridges that we would've accepted otherwise. The problem was placed back in our hands and they expected US to fix the problem and go to other branches. There was no apology whatsoever, no help from the store manager and overall poor service. We eventually received our money back and will purchase the fridge elsewhere. We are particularly unhappy that we paid TWO WEEKS in advance and still had to try and solve the problem ourselves. I would not advise ANYONE to support this store!
