Shirt size incorrect

It has been a pain in the neck getting a couple of shirts.
I am quite heavy, but not HUGE. A large shirt fits me like a pillowcase, a XL perfectly and the XXL like a tent.
My complaint is. How many men have you seen with TINY heads and XL bodies? I haven't. But surely you must cater for these very unique and plentiful clientele as i have struggled time and again with t-shirts with necks too small for my head. My only alternative was getting golfer shirts.

My main reason for entering your shop was to buy a black and a white T-shirt. Finding only Small and Medium, I tried the colour ones but found only one out of 8 that would go over my average sized head. I tried the golf shirts and they fit nicely, but the colours were hideous. I wanted a black and a white one, but only Small and Medium were available in that colours. So I bought some coloured ones and left.

Now i'm home, 300km from the closest Mr Price store and one of the Golf shirts don't fit me. Why aren't' all XL sizes THE SAME SIZE? It is easily 5cm narrower than the other XL's. I can't drive 300km to return a single shirt and when I finally can the 7 day return policy will be long gone. What can I do about this problem
