I still cannot get over the disgust I felt when I went to Jet Menlyn Branch yesterday at around 18h00 p.m. When I was waiting in a queue there was a lady in front of me who asked one of the cashiers if she was closing for the day as there was only two people working there and the queue was very long. The cashier responded "It's time for me to cash up, I am going home and I will not stay because you will not pay me overtime". What kind of an employee is allowed to answer the customer in such a manner?

And when it was my turn the other cashier was so unhelpful. I finally decided to leave the store and went to Edgars and I finally got help there.

You need to address this problem with the Menlyn Branch Manager ASAP. You cannot afford to have employees working with customers and behaving the way they did. It's totally unacceptable. I work in a customer service environment and I know how important customer service is. The way your employees behave says a lot about the entire company as a whole.
