Poorly constructed goods, poor after-sales service

Shops, Products, Services

I purchased 6 Amanda Dining Room chairs in September. On 29 November I emailed the sales rep at Cresta to notify her that all of the chairs' bolts were stripped. The assembler at the factory had obviously used the incorrect sized key during assembly. She tried her best to help me obtain new bolts, but eventually, the decision was taken by Coricraft Cresta that they would replace the chairs, because they couldn't get the bolts. They gave me the choice to fetch the chairs from the Cresta showroom or the warehouse in Stormill. I chose the Cresta showroom. The chairs were supposed to arrive on 21 or 24 December.By the 27th, they had not arrived, and the sales rep suggested that it was perhaps a better idea for me to go to the warehouse so that I could inspect the chairs to avoid them being returned again. I swopped the chairs on the 31st of December. My issue is with the fact that I had to swop the chairs myself in the first place. The defect was due to Coricraft's manufacturing process, and the mistake was on your side. It is never convenient to have to facilitate one's own after-sales service. I will think long and hard before buying furniture from Coricraft again.
