Hi there,

I am utterly dissapointed and totally flabbergasted at the service I got at Pick n Pay Elgin mall on Saturday, 2 March 2013. From the moment I set my foot in the mall, it was an unpleasant experience.

Firstly, there was not a single trolley or basket. Customers had to go out into the parking lot and hunt them down themselves.
Secondly, it takes 2 people almost 10 minutes to change the paper in pricing machines.
Thirdly, basic items like brown onion soup is not available.
Fourthly... and the most frustrating of all. It took my dearest cashier 15 minutes to "help" a client. When I asked her if there was a problem, she just replied that everything was fine. No madam, it is certainly not fine when you can't help a customer, and everyone else has to wait and wait and wait. When I asked her if there was a manager on duty, she ignored me. There was no one to complain to or to help me out of my misery. The blind leading the blind. I have always been a loyal Pick n Pay supporter, but now I'm losing my faith.

Pick n Pay Elgin mall will never see me again. And for other Pick n Pays - why should I even try?
