I write this letter as an extremely unhappy Dial a Bed customer. Never in my life, did I imagine buying a bed from Dial a Bed can be such a long dragged out ordeal. We bought a bed in December, which turned out to be a disaster and they replaced it, with another broken bed. N1 city branch was very quick to take our money... however the after sales service is atrocious. The staff were very friendly, but unfortunately this does not solve my problem of an inferior product that the supplier and Dial a Bed has given me on two occasions. Thursday 1 March they finally processed a refund; however the refund is R200 short. When we bought the bed, we were advised that we do not pay for delivery... yet now they advise us this is not the case. How in the world can Dial a Bed charge us for delivery after telling us that they would deliver it for free and even more so now that this inferior product will be taken back by them for the 2nd time. If I do not get a refund of this R200.00 I will be going to the consumer board, newspapers and ombudsman regarding the of my money.
