No lay-bye for under R1000

I enjoy the choice of lay-buying at shops because I am not an individual of affluence. Your shop provides second hand items to the public, but as I understand we are not allowed to lay-bye any items under a R1000. For example a gps R899.99, I cannot purchase over 3 months from you. If I had R1000 cash to spend on items, I would go and buy them new and not second hand with a lesser warranty. Your shop provides for people who do not live in affluence and chooses to purchase items from you for cash. We live in a debt ridden world, and some of us like the fact that we do not have to indulge in the sin of debt but to pay of desirable item in 3 months, without the interest. I think you need to reconsider your policy, make the start R500, but a R1000 is being ridiculous and will inevitably reduce your clientele. Most of your items in your shop are below the above mentioned price.
