Unable to download Ebooks

I bought a gob ii reader for my daughter, we tried to download eBooks without success. She does not stay with me, she is at boarding school. She went back to school very sad and frustrated because eBooks where not downloaded on her e reader. we tried everything we could but could not manage at the end. please assist.
