First growth milk exp before date

I went to Shoprite yesterday and purchased two individual First growth baby milk and the expiry date on the box is 22.04.2013 which is two months away, But when I opened the milk to feed my little one the milk was off (sour). How can this be possible and can you imagine the frustration that I had to go through when baby is crying for millk. This is not on and very disgusting. Please check your goods before packaging and dispatch. This should not happen at all.
