On the 20-12-12 me & my wife bought furniture & Furniture City Park Meadow branch, we signed the contract everythin approved & we were promised delivery with 7 working days. This did not happen, early January 2013 I was phoned to come to the store & collect my HIFI system which was a demo I was not told that the model I chose is out of stock so I collected the HiFi & a plasma stand. The Hifi was not in its original packaging, the same happened with the Hisense Fridge which was also not in its original packaging looked used & I immediatly advised the store of this no one wanted to help me but was just passing the buck, The manager of the branch Peter is not helpfull & his attitude stinks. He could not help me after I bought furniture worth over R60000 in his branch. I was stuck with a fridge that did not work for over a week my food was spoilt, they did nothing about that. I am still stuck with a Sealy base that is broken I reported all these with them since December to the day nothing has been done no one calls me or even cares. The fridge they delivered for interim use is damaged as well all I want is a new base & a new fridge. or I will cancel the contract please help Peter.
