My partner bought furniture from Furniture City in Northgate and all was well until they had to deliver the goods!
1. He got the wrong tv, he wanted a 3D tv and ended up with a LED tv & was told he would have to wait until July to get the right tv
2. The fridge and bed, he was told, would be delivered Saturday 18.05.2013 in the morning via a confirmation text. He had to wait until 3pm for the fridge and when it arrived it was broken inside, he reported it, he was told he would have to wait a week or two for it to be corrected.
3. The bed delivery was split and didn't come with the fridge, the bed came at 6pm and it was torn on the side, the mattress protector was not delivered and without it, he looses his warranty
4. The sound system he would have to wait until Monday or Tuesday for them to call Sony, meaning he would only get it in a week or two.

Everything he ordered actually has issues. He can't use any of it! The contract was signed on the 7th of May and finalised on the 14th of May! What was finalised and how do pay for poor service and broken goods? This is unacceptable!!!
