Slow payer by credit bureau

I have an account with edcon and due to unforseen circumstances that i had to pay R 10 000 for a hand operation, i didnt have the money to pay my installment for this month. When a lady from the call centre phoned i made arrangement to pay my overdue account the 1 st of march 2013 with her over the phone today 20 feb 2013. a few minutes ago i received a sms that they have registered me as a slow payer by credit bureau after i allready made arragements to pay them on the 1 st of march 2013.
So my question is doesnt the person that phoned make a note of it on the account>
