Horrific Service

I am something of a gadget junkie and used to love going into Due South for the newest Leatherman or some Caribeaners to use on my travel pack. However of late it has become distressing and annoying to go into a due south store as when you walk into any store in the country (and I have been in Centurion, Bloemfontein at the Waterfront and Gateway Durban branches of late) it feels as if staff are trained to ignore you and be hostile toward you. I went in to purchase a pair of hiking boots in Bloem and my wife eventually asked the staff if it was a self service store or if they were going to assist. I went looking for a knife in Centurion and after 5 min of the staff walking to the opposite side of the shop when I approached them, I left. In Durban I was looking for a GPS as my Garmin stayed behind in Pretoria and after the staff made me feel unwelcome I resolved to not give my money to Due South again. Thank you for reminding me that there are stores where I should not go as I am likely to spend money there. Great way to help me save.
