Windows 7 not Geniune

I bought a AcerAspire computer from your store on the 21 st December 2012. I asked the person that helped me if everything is on the computer that I need and he said yes I can just start the computer and everythig is on.
I am a pensioner and it is my first computer so I trusted him and went home. My computer worked fine for just more than a month and then when I switch him on he tell me that my Windows is not genuine. I took the computer to my daugther and she tried to activate because he said activate now. But when I put in the activation key underneeth the computer he said that it don't correspont with the software.
My computer is suppose to have starter or Basic but my screen now said its Ultimate.
Can you please help me, I dont know what to do and am in a state because I spent the money and now my computer is not right.
