Rude/Verbally Abusive Centre Manage

As I do not have transport at the moment i made use of my skateboard to travel to the Checkers centre to purchase some goods. On my way through the centre I was blocked off by someone claiming to be the centre manager, who rudely started verbally assaulting me, telling me to get off my skateboard and threatening to confiscate it if I continued to skate through the parking lot.
All I wanted to do was go into Checkers to get a few things and then leave, not cause any trouble and if he had asked me politely and respectfully to leave, I would have done so.
An assumption must not be made that just becasue I am on a skateboard, I am looking to cause trouble or break rules. I will not return to this centre if this is how customers are treated and I doubt anything would have been said if I was on a Bicycle!
