As it is nowadays one tries to buy stuff beforehand so when you move into your own place you have most things you need. I bought most of my electronic equipment from Hifi Corp over the last 3 years or so. One of these items where a Microwave Oven Purchased just over 2 years ago and stored until 4 mnths ago. It worked for four months and thene broke down. I took it back and explained my situation to the customer serv dept who said it was out of warrentee. As it was still bran new I asked if they could send it away to be fixed. I was told this will cost me R350 to see what is wrong and then some. I asked if they could help me out with a minor discount on a new oven and was told no. I then asked to speak to a manager who just send the assistant back to me and said no Discount! This person could not even grant me the decency to come down and talk to me about the issue. I am so disgusted with the service and will never buy from them again!!!
