Price in advertisement false!

I walked into your store in Tzaneen after seeing an ad in your brochure for two pairs of shoes for R250 for both pairs. I grabbed the two pairs and at the counter was told that the system does not pick up the discount. I took the slaes lady to your big poster and also pointed out the ad in the brochure but I was told that if the system does not allow the discount then they unfortunately cannot give it to me at that price.
On Sunday I tried your Melrose Arch branch and was told the same.
I believe then that this is false advertising and not ethical behaviour towards your clients?
