Dodgy credit policies/practice

In July 2013 I bought a external hard drive from Incredible Connection on credit. The product was sold to me for R2499. After paying for 5months (R225 per month) I went to them today and wanted to settle the outstanding amount. I am now told that my outstanding amount payable is R2519. What the?? how is it possible that my outstanding balance is more than the original price of the product after paying 5 Installments? (R1125 in total) When I asked the very same question to the employees there, they couldn't answer me (apart from telling me that the contract/initiation fee for the transaction was R300). What have I been paying off for the last 5 months then? Are you really this scaly Incredible Connection?!?!
