No attempt to assist with exchange of two shirts

On 6th January I attempted to exchange two shirts received for Christmas for smaller sizes and was told that they were not in a position to assist as these shirts are no longer in stock. The store manger made no attempt to resolve.
I escalated this to the customer service on their website and have had no assistance. Email responses assured resolution in 48 hours.
All I require is to have these shirts exchanged.
