Not returning their goods

My fiance bought a white shirt, he did not check if it fits in the shop because it was too busy and as most men do, he did not check if the shirt has been fitted before and if it was dirty anywhere. We fitted the shirt at home, when it did not fit I tried to return it, and they said they can't refund it in the condition it's in. Now if you sell such a bad quality product that if you fit it once and it gets so dirty that you cannot refund it - why should people pay R300 for it. I am shocked that Woolworths sells this type of quality product in their stores (I am not convinced that my fiance dirtied the shirt) and I feel its my obligation to let people know that they are not getting what they paid for. Also to let people know not buy any white items from these stores, because it is easy for them to say to you afterwards sorry you they can't take back an item they can't sell again but they have no problem selling it to you that way, and because they fold the items you can't always see what you are getting. Check their products if you see any, and I mean any mark on it don't buy it. It's not good quality.
