I was purchasing a few items and randomly wandering the store like any other customer. Upon leaving the store I was stopped and asked to open my bag for a security check as it was alleged that I had a bar of soap. I observed that I was the only one who was stopped and searched and miraculously there was no bar of soap. I asked for the manager as I was deeply insulted and humiliated therefore an explanation of the harassment was due. Spar is my preferred supermarket as it is convenient. The store tarnished my reputation as I am now known as a and already someone I know recognised me there. Whats worse is that the manager did not even say a word or even apologise. He was disinterested and did not even reprimand the security guard for the false allegation.
