Harassed by obscene, harrassing security guard

After having spent around R2000 in the Truworths Emporium in Eastgate today, 29 May 2013, we were leaving the store at around 14:45 when the scanner happened to go off. This was likely because the till staff did not de-activate a tag. But there is no excuse for the calibre of the obnoxious, illiterate and rude security guard that met us at the exit (closest to Game stores). My husband and I gave him our purchases to check, which all correlated to the items on the till slip. Then this guy became very rude and obnoxious, threatened me and asked me if there was anything in my bag- WHAT?! I was shocked but walked through with my bag, with nothing happening on the scanner. He then just looked at us with a dumb expression. I then asked to see the manager. He then dared to ask me "why must you see the manager". Firstly, this security guard seemed either drink or just plain dumb, then when I said "To complain about your bad behaviour", he simply told my husband and I that: No fine- we can just leave". At this point we were so irritated, we left. I want this matter investigated, and the video tapes checked, or I will escalate this complaint until I get a suitable outcome to this harassment
