Default on my name

I have arrangements in paying the Edgars account and I have learnt that there is a default under my name while I am paying that account. This gives a bad reflection on my name and I can not even get a house due to this default, as I have intentions of buying a house for my mother... I need them to rectify this issue as soon as possible.
