I have a Game account managed by RCS, and have had this account for YEARS! I have always paid by EFT, occasionally making a branch payment. I have never had a problem, until Nov 2013. I received an sms to say the account has not been paid. I made contact with them on Tues, 10 Dec, only to be told that the same reference I've been using all these years is incorrect. I then send them the past 4 months proof of payments and confirm they have received it. I call the next day to be told it has been sent to the admin dept., and that it will take 4 days to update and I must call back on Monday. I call on Wednesday instead, only to be told nothing has been done yet and I must call back today. I call again today to be told the same as yesterday. At this point I asked to speak to a manager, Kim, who says it's our fault for using the wrong reference number, even though it's the same one used all these years, and that there is nothing she can do, as it will take 14 DAYS to sort out. At this point, 7 working days has already passed. I find it ABSOLUTELY ludicrous that this should take as long and their customer service leaves a lot to be desired.
