On the 04 February 2012, I purchased a lounge suite for cash at Beares West street, Durban. On the date of purchase, the then manager Ashley was ever so willing to offer his assistance in the event of any querries in the future. In September 2012, the first complaint for a single seater was logged and was taken in for repairs. It took three weeks for the item to return. On return we found to be defective and in worse condition than before. We then logged a compalint and also sent in the two seater which also was opening at the seams. The two seater also came back defective with the stitching not properly done and the base of the seat dropped, hanging on the floor. When a complaint was raised, I was told by Ashley that I had to take it up with Crafrton Everest themselves. I have since sent both the one and the two seaters back for repairs. I requested a new lounge suite or a refund, but was told that they can only repair and send it back to me. In the mean time my warrantee has lapsed and now i am liable for costs associated with any repairs going forward to the lounge suite which is not in the beast condition. How can i be assisted?
