My Experience

I asked my mom to phone pick n pay Bramely (midway mall) to ask if they had mixed vegetables, specifically McCain Stir Fry, the one with mushrooms. The gentleman told my mom yes, they have stock in that. He even gave my mom a price for it.
At approximately 3:20pm I drove my mom to Pick n Pay, where she went inside to go and buy the stir fry. When she arrived, a gentleman told her that they didn't have stock but to take another one instead. After not feeling so great in the car for a while, I went into Pick n Pay to see what was happening. My mom showed me her purchase and I told her it wasn't the one with mushrooms so I went to go see the one with mushrooms (which later I found out was called French Stir Fry). There was no stock!
I then asked my mom to get a refund and I would go somewhere else (which I did). My mom went to the till to request money back and the till lady had a bad attitude about me to my mom.
I have been a good customer with Pick n Pay Bramley for a very long time.
Firstly, if they had told my mom that there was no stock (over the phone) that would have been fine. Secondly, the cashier had absolutely no right to have a bad attitude towards me (a customer).
