Edgars "75% off" Sales are a

On Friday 24th Jan a rail of mens' shorts marked "75% off marked price" was moved to the front of Edgars Canal Walk. We confirmed with the assistant that all the mens shorts on this rail attracted this discount. After waiting in a long queue the price of the Jeep shorts scanned the full price. We queried with Noxolo Nonxuba who was busy with 2 other customers with the same complaint re the discount (one of the customers had a problem with shoes) and she advised that she was the manager. She was very arrogant with all the customers and when she saw that I was trying to get her name on her badge she rudely said she would write it down for me. Which she did. We left the store without buying anything. Suckers for punishment on Sat 25th we were in Edgars N1 and found yet another rail marked with the same 75% discount this time for girls pyjamas. We once again queued in a long queue only to have the item scan at full price and the assistant saying they had been advised that they could not override the price. The customer in front of me said she believed that Edgars were scamming the customers just to attract them into the shop as the same thing happened to her.
