Dishonesty drives customers away

I went for the Edgars Big Deal 50% off sale and was highly disappointed by the that retailers like edgars pull. I saw a pair of shorts marked R499 with 50% off and wanted to purchase these. While looking through the rack i found another shorts that was marked R440 with the original price tag and did not have another smaller price sticker on it. Edgars says that they are having 50% off but they actually make items more expensive and try to customers into thinking they are getting a bargain.

For me this is rather about the principal and being honest instead of saving R50. I walked around and saw a number of items that had smaller price labels stuck on top of the older ones. I therefore walked out and will not be visiting ripoffs like edgars again.
