No assistance with blocked account

My husband opened a new account in December, however was not asked for a payslip at the time of card collection. After making a substantive amount of purchases over the month, our card was then blocked due to lack of payslip on Game system.

We were then asked to fax payslip and ID which we did at the store, however we were then contacted by someone to request for bank statements as well which we then had to email to him as the store was closed. We then emailed him again this morning to confirm receipt of email and received no response. We went back to the store today to unblock the account and was told that the person who had contacted us for the bank statements was now on leave and we would have to wait for further assistance.

It is very frustrating and insulting not to have been notified in advance by Game that a payslip is required else the account will be blocked. And only to find out after been rejected by at till point.

Utterly disgusted!
