Damaged goods sold! Refund hard to come bY!

We Purchased 3 chairs from House and Home on 11.01.2014.
Due to stock shortage we agreed to take the chair on the floor. Mrs PM Molotsi stated that she would arrange the floor chair be taken to the warehouse for us to collect there.
When collecting the chairs from the warehouse, the warehouse attendant said he had not got the chair and that he would give us another chair that was in a box..
When unpacking the chair I noticed that the box stated "damaged", (clearly marked) on the box.
The chair was too damaged to be put together.
When phoning them, they said that I had to go all the way back to Brits to change it.
I went back on 18.01.2014 after phoning the branch and confirming.
I got no communication in the branch and had to wait for over half an hour for some or other reason.
On complaining and requesting a refund, I had to wait for the Branch Manager.
When he finally came back into the shop, long chat, he said that I had to wait for a refund as it needed to be authorised.
I asked for them to refund me straight into my bank account as I could not wait all day.
Refund was promised on 20.01.2014
No refund to date!
Very poor service!
