Bad Attitude

I went to Toys r Us (Sandton) last night to buy a high chair. I arrived at 18: 46 pm - 14 minutes prior to closing time. I walked around for a 2 minutes, eyeing the different chairs & it amazed how not even 1 staff member asked if I needed help. They were all milling around the store or having mini conversations amongst themselves. When I finally interrupted a conversation of a group of staff members to ask for help, the lack of enthusiam to assist was appalling. I asked the guy for the Mini mouse high chair and he said he would check the warehouse. He came back to tell me that the chairs were out of stock. So I opted to take the 1 that was currently on display & I asked if it I could have a box for it & if he could pack it up for me. He went back to the warehouse, to come back & advise there were no more boxes. So I had to take the chair to my car, as it was, just folded up. The manager was nice enough to offer a 5% discount on the chair. It was highly annoying that all the staff members were literally waiting at the door, bags packed and uniforms off, for me to finishing paying so they could get home, like I was wasting their time. That is the last time I shop at that branch.
