I'm very disappointed with Sunglass Hut. To think I once thought of them as the best, as i bought a pair of prada sunglasses from them before. Last year 07/07/2013 I purchased a pair of tiffany & co. sunglasses, that were on display as I was told they were the last pair. Not realising that they had a defect on them. I treasure my sunglasses so much I wear them very seldomly. Dec 2013 i realised that the frame looked like it was pealing inside, in between the area where the lens goes in. And i noticed that the pealing looked very horrible when under sunlight. Went to clearwater mall branch where I bought them. The sales lady told me it would be a manufacturing issue, which should be dealt with by the warranty office and since I had gone over their return policy. Filled in forms from that office and sent back to them on 11/01/2014. On the 21/01/2014 got an email from them saying that they do not cover scratches. Please tell me, where does some1 who bought sunglasses worth R3350 get the time, to take out the lens scratch the frame inside, take back the lens unscratched, frame undamaged. Plus their warranty disclaimer is also misleading as it duznt say anything about scratched frames.
