I recently purchased an Asus tablet for my 7 year old. Once confirmed that I was buying it, the insurance guy approached me for the extended warranty. I asked him about the extent of the cover and distinctly asked if the screen was covered more than 3 times. He assured me that it was and there were also unlimited claims. My husband was against taking the extended warranty but I convinced him otherwise. Low and behold, 2 weeks later, the screen cracked. But strangely, the tablet wasn't dropped. So I'm not sure how this happened. When I took it to the repairs department, they said to me that a sharp object poked the tablet. When one looks at the tablet, there is no physical damage, not even a scratch. The manager then said to me, that the cost of fixing the screen is for my cost. Patrick, the insurance guy, insisted that he didn't tell me that the screen was covered. I purchased the tablet on the 21 December 2013. I am still to receive my insurance documents with my terms and conditions. I was also promised a telephone call, once the store manager was contacted. Nothing yet. Definitely won't be supporting Incredible Connection, they have given me false information and service.
