Return/Refund process not acceptable

I returned an article on 13 December and am still waiting for a refund following a confirmation email on the 8th of January saying that the refund will be visible within 2 working days. Well that has certainly come and gone and after several e-mails to support@kalahari, I wonder if someone actually monitors that inbox as I have had NO feedback on my emails - simply "to be ignored". I have called in twice since and have been told there were problems with the refund process but only after I contacted them - no courtesy call just to say they are experiencing problems. On Monday, I called in and spoke to Jandre who promised to phone me back - again, just nothing. Again this morning, the message that hopefully by the end of this week. It just keeps on rolling over into a "next 5 working day" scenario. Pathetic or should I say, non-existent client service.
