Last year I received a letter from Clicks for my funeral policy. The letter was informing me that my policy had lapsed in July. I received this letter in November. My bank account was still being debited for the premiums, even after my policy had 'lapsed'. I called Clicks to find out what was the problem, I spoke to Kgomotso. I was advised to send my bank statements as proof. I did that. After a few days I called again and I was told my refund couldn't be processed because the people responsible were on leave. This is happening in December. When I come back from the holidays, I send an email. Kgomotso replies me and tells me my refund was processed (date of email 8/01/2014) and that I will receive it in the next 5-7 working days. I waited for that period, which ended on Friday (18/01/2014) I called and spoke to Christina. She told me that my refund will be processed manually. I will be getting my refund on Monday or Tuesday. Today is Tuesday and I still haven't received my refund. When I had missed a payment, I was hustled to pay and I did. Now I'm given the run around. I'm tired of wasting my airtime. I won't even use my money now, because of the airtime I had to buy.
