ROTTEN SMELLING TONGUE

Christmas Eve, had to have dinner with family same evening as son working Xmas day. Out comes the pickled tongue (vacuum packed) bought two days prior at Cape Gate branch. Cutting open the plastic an awful rotten smell was evident. My wife, being at that moment in Brackenfell branch was contacted and she suggested she buy another one at the Brackenfell branch then we could always return this one the next working day. Upon her return that tongue, also having been vacuum packed too was smelly and bad. I immediately sent my son back but when he got there it was just after 6pm and although he explained to the security he just needed to change the product he was refused entry. We ended up having just the gammon and chicken for Xmas and froze both tongues for return the next working day. I have since sent a complaint on the P 'n Pay complaints online website but heard nothing to date. Unacceptable. From Mr Terence Fish
