I took my Cellini case in for repairs as the pull handle broke off. The case is still under warranty. This is the second time this has happened..it was repaired the first time without any hassles. The handle came right off on my way to the airport.i took it in and reminded them that it was under warranty. I told the guy to call me if there was a charge involved... which I just did as a precaution as it was supposed to be repaired without charge due to the warranty. I popped by and was told that the bag was back and
that I had to pay 280R.! when asked why I was told that the factory deemed it as airline damage! How on earth is that possible when the bag hadnt been on a plane yet? in fact I hadnt used it since it had returned from the first repair. I spoke to the manager who wasnt very helpful. I asked him for the number for the repair centre and he gave me the number knowing full well that they were closed for the holidays.when I contacted them they only put me back in contact with the store. After much argument, they agreed to return the bag for 150 R.I only relented and paid that as I needed the bag.i know of 3 others who had the same fault. And cellini insists it isnt a factory fault.
