Faulty cellphone and i still have to keep it

My uncle went to buy a cell phone for my cousin, date (02.01.2014), they wanted a gallaxy pocket however was out of stock and was advised to take an MTN Stapper, few days after it started to freeze, and they claim they cell affordable and quality products, they my uncle returned it on the 6th so Ester checked the phone herself she is a manager an a technician at the same time wow. the same day of repair the phone was again faulty, i told my uncle to return it as we cannot keep a new phone that's faulty, he went back but because people like Ester the manager who takes advantage of people who don't know their consumer rights and language barrier, she was rude to him and send him back with the phone. i then told my uncle to go back and i spoke to Ester who has very bad service and unprofessional, she wont listen to customers just want to talk none stop, i need this matter to be resolved asap as my cousin is going to school and expecting calls as she applied for bursaries and temp jobs, we need a refund as section 20 states on the consumer rights we no longer want pep cell phones. ester must be taken to customer care training, don't want to take this further to the Credit Ombuds.
