Bad Service and over charging

A while ago my mother purchused Huggies Nappies that were on promotion as a gift at Game Middelburg. She bought the Gold for Girls Mega Box @ R279.99 & X2 Dry Comfort Jumbo Pack @ R119.99 and received the 10% Pensioners discount.
However after opening 1 of the packs I realise that the sizes were a bit smaller. On the 31 Dec. I return the unopened items to Game for an exchage in size. The lady at the Customer Care Counter who assisted did not want to listen to reason. She insisted on speaking Zulu after I made it clear that I dont understand her. She informed us that because of the pensioner discount my Mother would need to come exchange it herself with her Card. On 2 Jan my mom went to do the exchange in size, but was instead charged an extra R99.80. This was supposed to be a simple exchange in the size only. She didnt take anything else or different yet she was charged extra. I dont understand why this was the case as I have on many occasions exchaged goods at other stores and as long as you take goods of the sample value and quality you are not charged extra. The attitude and customer service were appaulling on both occasions. I want to know why the extra charge? What for!!!
